Visual & Written Storytelling for Regenerative ProjectsWe help you & the place you serve tell its unique story & attract the right people & resources.
Around the world, there are courageous folk with green hearts and lush visions. They devote themselves to regenerating our imaginations and the land. They know that every place has a unique story, always evolving and aeons in the making, through the meeting of mountains, rivers, trees, weather patterns, myths, and the people who keep them alive.
We help unearth the visible and invisible layers that give your project — and the place it serves — their gravitational pull. We travel to the source of your purpose and work and translate them into multimedia stories, combining film, analog photography, writing, and collage.
Have you noticed how every place speaks a particular language?
This is the spirit of place. You can feel it in your body and smell it after Summer’s rain. You can trace it by its rivers and glimpse it in the angle the trees bend. You can hear it uttered in the dialects and see it woven throughout the crafts of its people. It’s a feeling you can’t always name but keep coming back for. It’s what our ancestors called Genius Loci.
Most stories told about regenerative projects impose detached, outdated visions, rather than expressing what’s unique & alive to them.
Modernity has uprooted communities and land-based traditions. Our landscapes are paved over in sameness. We’ve erected vast monocultures, and even the most sustainable tourist destinations feel disconnected from local communities and ecosystems.
The same can be said about how mainstream agencies approach storytelling. The potential of the place is lost; the complex is oversimplified; and the story is cold, salesy, and out of tune.
Regenerative practitioners understand their work as tuning into the spirit of place and enhancing it, for herein lies its unique potential.
Good storytelling further amplifies that unique potential. It seeds a connection between the place, the people tending the land, and those receiving the story. It’s what helps you attract the right people with aligned intentions and the skills and resources you need.

FEATURED PUBLICATIONRewilding Scotland’s Wet Desert
We spent a week in Glen Affric, fetching water, planting native saplings, and learning to read a recovering landscape. In this story for Meander Magazine, we learn firsthand from one of Scotland’s rewilding pioneers and explore what it means to tend something that will outlive us.
Who is this for?Changemakers and organizations rooted in a place.
Land & regenerative projects
Farms, rewilding or ecological restoration initiatives whose stories are bound to the land they tend.
Place-based organizations
Ecoretreats or wilderness school? Your work couldn’t exist without the land and the communities it’s grounded in. You seek to generate resilience, wealth, and vitality that are shared by all.
Community & conservation initiatives
Your work depends on people understanding what's really at stake and why. You want to uplift maker communities, reanimate local myth and folklore, and protect biodiversity.
Regional cultural & economic initiatives
Places around the world are in economic and cultural transition. They are reimagining the potential of their region: think ski resorts with warmer winters and less snow, embracing regenerative tourism alternatives.

Listen
needs, vision, & budget We talk about what you need, who your project serves, and what we can achieve together within your budget.
Gather
Source from Place Every story we tell begins with studying the place itself — its ecology, history, and the essential qualities that make it magnetic.
Harvest
Stories, Film, Images We harvest what we've heard and seen into a story paired with experiential photography and film.
Tell
The Living Story A rich, image-led narrative that attracts the right people, and nourishes the project, place, and community in turn.
